At YP, our commitment to helping local businesses and communities grow runs deep. We’ve been the marketing partner for local business owners across the country for over 100 years, providing them with best practices and education to help take their businesses to the next level.

Innovations in technology have drastically changed how consumers find, engage, and transact with businesses today – and, as such, have forced small businesses to adapt quickly in order to ensure their businesses are up, front, and center wherever their target consumers are. It’s always been our priority to stay ahead of the curve, sharing essential tools, tips, and tricks to help business owners constantly make the most of their marketing efforts.

That’s why we are so proud to announce that YP will once again be a supporter of Small Business Saturday®. Small Business Saturday will take place on November 26 – conveniently sandwiched between Black Friday and Cyber Monday – to drive foot traffic to small businesses.

In lead up to Small Business Saturday, YP will host a series of webcasts related to our just-released research, “The Why Before the Buy℠. The live webcasts will provide attendees with key insights around why consumers shop the way they do (every day, not just during the holidays) as well as what factors they consider when choosing one business over another.

Beginning on November 2, the webcast series will bring together digital marketing experts from Google, Bing, and Verve as well as entrepreneur, Ramon Rey, to offer advice on how to build a strong online presence, deploy effective search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns, and increase overall brand awareness.

To sweeten the offer, all attendees will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a grand prize of $4,500 in free advertising, courtesy of YP Marketing Solutions. Two winners will be randomly selected and announced on Small Business Saturday. Register for the live webcasts today and, while you’re at it, be sure to follow the conversation at #whythebuy and #ShopSmall.
