YP dazzled the tech community as a key partner of this year’s Internet Week NYC conference, taking every opportunity to share its promise of connecting national brands with local audiences. Internet Week NYC is an annual conference where 9,000+ attendees, from all walks of media, advertising, and tech life, come together to discuss the intersection of technology and culture.

YP’s brand took center stage at Internet Week HQ. In fact, it couldn’t be missed. From the second attendees entered the conference floor – at New York’s storied Metropolitan Pavilion – until the time they left, they were greeted by YP brand ambassadors and immersed in YP-branded messaging at every turn, including an eye-catching yellow line that beautifully connected all of YP’s key brand activations – the YP Theater, the YP Local Café, and the YP Networking Lounge.

Chief Technology Officer, Darren Clark joined a panel discussion about how companies use data to fuel innovation; SVP, National Markets, Luke Edson worked alongside the sales team to demonstrate how YP helps national brands connect with their local audiences; and VP of Brand Advertising, Alex Kaminsky met with reporters to share the story of how YP has made every day local for businesses and consumers for more than 100 years.

Internet Week NYC was the perfect backdrop to highlight YP’s full suite of digital marketing solutions. There were live product demonstrations of ypSearch Marketplace℠, Enhanced Mobile Targeting℠, Cross Device Retargeting℠ and Audience Extension, and a sneak peek at the new YP℠ app for the Apple Watch. The marketing team used this as an opportunity to showcase the latest additions to YP’s Make Every Day Local ℠ campaign.

To wrap up the week in a big way, YP hosted a swanky and star-studded networking mixer to celebrate the launch of ypSearch Marketplace℠, with guest appearances by Make Every Day Local℠ influencer and ESPN anchor, Hannah Storm, as well as NBA legend-turned-restaurateur, Walt “Clyde” Frazier, concluding with an energetic musical performance by Swedish duo, Nico & Vinz.
