YP℠ Welcomes Sherri Nadeau, Chief Human Resources Officer
YP℠ is excited to welcome to the team our new Chief Human Resources Officer, Sherri Nadeau – a highly-respected, corporate HR professional who brings with her years of global HR experience. Sherri joins the company with a specific focus on taking YP’s corporate culture, employment brand and recruitment efforts to the next level.
Sherri oversees talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, HR systems, HR business partner support, organizational effectiveness, learning and all of our employee development programs. Even though Sherri is based in YP’s Atlanta headquarters, she envisions her role as being somewhat bicoastal since 25% of our team members are based on the West Coast, including our key technology leaders and their teams. Having previously lived in Los Angeles for more than a decade, Sherri understands the unique needs and challenges facing creative teams operating in a leading-technology environment.
Sherri began her career as a CPA at KPMG soon after earning a master’s degree in Accounting/Tax from the University of Virginia. However, it wasn’t too long after that experience that she decided to make the transition into Human Resources. She has a particular passion for working with companies undergoing significant industry changes. Prior assignments have included Connexity (formerly Shopzilla), Fidelity Information Services (formerly Certegy), Equant/France Telecom, SAVVIS, Sony Pictures and Universal Studios. Before joining YP, Sherri was Senior Vice President of HR at First Advantage Corporation, where she was responsible for more than 2,500 employees in North America and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
It makes perfect sense that she would be a perfect fit for YP as we undergo our very own digital transformation. “I’ve had YP on my radar for a number of years and have been extremely impressed with the company’s transformation to date and it’s leadership in local marketing solutions,” said Sherri. “I’m thrilled to be here!”
We are certainly thrilled to have her here, too!
